UPDATE: Scott Mission Continues to Adapt to Meet Urgent Needs

The last couple of years have been a period of change and growth at Scott Mission. Meeting urgent needs, while laying a foundation for a better tomorrow, are at the heart of the renovations that will help address the rising cost of living, lack of affordable housing, and more.

The food bank, clothing, and meals have been relocated back to the 502 Spadina location.

Scott Mission has opened a health clinic, staffed by a nurse, that is open five days a week to serve men in the shelter and others in our community.
A general practitioner is also on site one day a week.

In partnership with the City of Toronto, Scott Mission opened a short-term winter respite to offer more homeless neighbours safe refuge from the elements. The respite centre is giving much needed shelter to 50 men each winter day when it’s just too cold for people to be on the streets.
